Job Overview

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager who will own how our products are positioned, launched, communicated, and scaled across multiple African markets. You will work at the intersection of product, growth, brand, and community, translating product capabilities into compelling stories that drive adoption, retention, and revenue.

You will deeply understand customer segments (entrepreneurs, freelancers, creators), craft the narrative, and drive go-to-market execution for features like USD accounts, USD virtual cards, global payments, crypto-to-cash, and payout tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Positioning & Messaging

• Develop clear, compelling positioning that differentiates Novacrust in the global payments and fintech landscape

• Craft messaging frameworks for each customer segment and product line

• Translate complex financial features into simple, benefit-led user language

2. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy

• Plan and execute GTM launches for new features, payment rails, and market entries.

• Work closely with product, engineering, and operations to bring features from idea to launch.

• Own launch content: website copy, emails, landing pages, videos, in-app announcements, and social assets.

3. Customer & Market Insight

• Conduct market and competitor research across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, and other African markets.

• Lead customer interviews, surveys, and experiments to understand user jobs-to-be-done.

• Build segment personas and core use-case narratives.

4. Growth & Activation

• Partner with growth to design campaigns that increase sign-ups, activations, USD account creation, and transaction volume.

• Develop lifecycle messaging across onboarding, KYC, wallet funding, payments, and retention.

• Track funnels, identify drop-offs, and work with teams to optimize.

5. Content & Community

• Own educational content: guides, playbooks, FAQs, video scripts, creator/influencer briefs.

• Collaborate with the community team to amplify user success stories and creators.

• Support B2B partnerships with pitch decks, product sheets, and sales collateral.

6. Analytics & Performance monitoring

• Define success metrics for each launch and campaign.

• Pull insights from analytics tools to measure ROI and improve messaging.

• Own PMM reporting to leadership (weekly and monthly).

Qualifications and Skills

• 2 - 3 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or fintech marketing.

• Experience in payments, digital banking, remittances, or financial services is a strong advantage.

• Ability to translate technical fintech concepts into simple language.

• Strong storytelling skills - written, visual, and conceptual.

• Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams.

• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment.

• Bonus: familiarity with the fintech space
